>Twin Pillars of Christian Morality

John Hick proposes that Hell symbolizs the urgency and necessity of havng any religion whatsoever in order to escape self-cnterness. He provides no evidence, just his intuition. Fr. Leo Booth notes that like other rabbis, Yeshua over emphasizes.
We need no such overemphasis to know to do good things
We just have to refine our evoloved moral sense such that it encompases the whole planet as Dr. PaulKurtz ever notes. We can learn the lessons that MIchael Shermer teaches in ” The Science of Good and Evil,” Robert Price’s ” The Reason-Driven Life,” Kurtz’s ” Forbidden Fruit ” and Albert Ellis’s ” The Myth of Self-Esteem” for that more abundant life.
No praying to Sky Pappy, Being Itself, can help us. People who help themselves with faith actually just use that faith as a motivator for action from their own inner resources just as those without faith do.
Even the mildest of Hells doesn’t self-justify. No God has any rights over u per Lamberth’s argument from autonomy, and we owe no worship whatsoever; but were there one, He’d face that one-way street per Fr. Meslier’s the problem of Heaven of putting us into a better place. It’s not what any God wants, but rather what is good for sentient beings!
We gnu atheists mean business!
Scripure provides no evidence whatsoever for Heaven and Hell and the future state and contra-causal [causeless] free will.
We gnu atheists mean business!
How do you think this argument works out for you?
